The hybrid (onsite/online) conference ‘FECUN 2024 Tanzania,’ organized by Mkwawa University College of Education (Tanzania), VIA University College (Denmark), and FECUN, will occur 3-4 October, 2024.

The overall theme of FECUN 2024 Tanzania is ‘Reimagining Education for Self-Reliance (ESR) in the context of Futures of Education, Culture, and Nature.’

The conference explores how the ideas behind “futures of education – learning to become” is essential both for “the transformations of human minds and societies” and can be related to this theme both in the Tanzanian context, as well as in a global and planetary context

The conference examines these issues in general and, more specifically, concerning Polytechnic and Vocational Education at Higher Educational Institutions, civil society, and artistic activity.
